Tanya Mundt

Dr Tanya Mundt

Dr. Tanya Mundt grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan. She graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 2001. In 2005, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan’s dental college. She became a partner for Southbrook Dental Group (previously Azarko Dental Group Southbrook) in 2013. In 2019 she has became sole owner of Southbrook Dental Group.

Dr. Mundt is very family-oriented and has three children of her own. She also has three fur babies, one dog and two cats. Dr. Mundt is a patient General Dentist who strives to prevent problems before they start and wants every patient to leave their appointment happy. Dr. Mundt is very understanding of dental anxiety and commits to putting her patients at ease to make every appointment a positive one.

In her free time Dr. Mundt, along with her husband and children, enjoys participating in activities such as competitive soccer, hiking, biking and long distant running. Dr. Mundt is a proud supporter of the Canadian Cancer Society and the Humane Society, as well as other charities.

She is committed to continuing education and is very passionate about helping as many as she can to achieve oral health.

Dr Mollania

Dr. Maryla Mollania was born and raised in northern Iran. Her desire to help ensure people have beautiful smiles led her to a highly competitive dental school in Teheran, where she received her dentistry degree. After practicing for a number of years as a general dentist, she and her husband moved to France, where they lived for 5 years before moving to Canada. In Canada, Dr Mollania attended the dentistry program at UBC and graduated in 2015. While Dr Mollania is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry, she enjoys working with anxious patients and helps put them at ease with her caring nature. Her dental interests include oral surgery and endodontics.

Dr Mollania has 2 wonderful boys whom she loves spending time with. In her free time, she enjoys activities such as Zumba, hot yoga and walking. Besides English, she speaks Farsi, French and rudimentary Arabic.

Dr Rahimi

Dr. Rahimi was born and trained in general dentistry in Iran and has been practicing since 1994. She fluently speaks English and Farsi. She moved to Toronto, Canada in 2011 and challenged the Canadian Licensing NDEB exams and is fully licensed in Canada. She moved from Toronto to Edmonton in 2014 and continued to practice dentistry in Edmonton earning herself a reputation as a professional, energetic, caring, and compassionate dentist. We are absolutely thrilled to have Dr. Rahimi as part of our dental family of providers at Southbrook Dental Group.

Her dental interests are to help others with their oral health, oral surgery and endodontics. When Dr. Rahimi is not in the office she enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
