These aligners are designed to fit snugly over your teeth and are changed every 1 – 2 weeks. Each aligner is engineered to provide just the right amount of force to shift your teeth slightly, moving them into more desirable positions if and when needed.
Invisalign braces, which are removable, allow you to eat and drink what you want even during treatment. They don’t interfere with brushing or flossing. They are more comfortable than traditional braces and make for an improved appearance. It is possible no one will even notice you are wearing them.
Vivera retainers are commonly worn after orthodontics to prevent movement of your teeth. It is important to wear retention appliances such as Vivera, essix, acrylic or metal bonded on wire retainers for the rest of your life.
MTM or minimal tooth movement is also available for very minor tooth movements using similar principles.
